Lashes, listen up! There is an emerging singer/songwriter from
Minneapolis coming to perform in Pittsburgh at AVA Lounge on Thursday,
February 21 and we’re here to tell you a bit more about this talented
lady. Her name is Jenny Dalton
and she’s drawn comparisons to the artists previously mentioned,
combining elements of piano, autoharp and percussion into one unique and
intimate performance. With three releases under her belt, Dalton has
been making music for well over seven years now. Her latest, Blood Folk,
was released in 2011. She is currently embarking on a U.S. tour which
kicks off today in Knoxville, Tennessee and wraps up in April in
Chicago.
Dalton’s aesthetic has been described as ethereal, timeless and
haunting. Her songs evoke a train of thought that burrows deep into the
